As a Grandmother to sixteen and counting, I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to act? I'm nothing like my own Grandmothers were. Naw, when I finally kick the bucket, I do believe they'll say of me, "My Grandma was Crazy!"

The Chilling Effect
Published on Sep 23, 2013
Full title: "The Chilling Effect - Pain Patients in the War on Drugs" by Siobhan Reynolds (RIP) and Elizabeth Hendler; it was released in 2005. It is about the case and family travails of failed back surgery and MS patient Richard Paey, and about Siobhan and son Ronan's experiences trying to help husband and PRN co-founder Sean Greenwood, an Elhers-Danlos patient in severe intractable pain find compassionate medical care. Sean, once a patient treated with great success by Dr. Hurwitz, was unable to find ongoing, adequate treatment. He died in a hotel room, with Siobhan and Ronan, as they desperately crossed the country seeking compassionate care.
